I wear these socks instead of chaps. So much easier and lighter. Recently rode a 40km Distance Ride in just short boots and socks as did my ride buddy. Swelteringly hot day, no rubs, no chafing, no over heating, just comfort.
Great socks! The patch makes for comfortable wear with both short boots and long, the thickness preventing any rubbing or discomfort. Soft merino makes them super in winter.
I have a couple of pairs of these socks now and wow what a difference they make. In winter when its not great weather, I dont want to bother putting on my long boots and them getting wet/dirty but, I also dont want my legs getting pinched when I ride, not anymore with these beauties! These patch socks really have been a game change for me and I can ride knowing I wont have bruises the next day, win win!!
